Support parameters from the programme materials

According to the programme materials provided for Kazakhstan, the SBS programme helped SMEs solve business tasks with external consultants and could compensate part of consulting costs through a grant. These figures are a reference from the provided programme material and must be checked against the current EBRD rules before application.

What can be supported

The EBRD programme can support business advice for MSMEs across areas such as operations, quality management, financial reporting, sustainability and digital transformation. For HSP Hub clients this may include advisory and implementation support around:

How we approach the request

Initial diagnostics

We define the business problem, current process, expected result and whether the request fits a consulting project format.

Programme routing

If the project may be eligible, we share the official EBRD information route and help prepare the project description for review.

Implementation plan

After approval and scope confirmation, HSP Hub delivers the agreed consulting and implementation work.

Programme project cycle

Application: the enterprise submits the application package to the programme office or the relevant route.

Terms of reference: the enterprise and consultant prepare the project assignment for review.

Contracts: the enterprise signs the consulting agreement, and grant documents are handled under programme rules.

Implementation: the consultant delivers the approved project scope.

Grant payment: after successful completion and payment to the consultant, grant reimbursement is processed under the programme rules.

Evaluation: the programme may evaluate project results after implementation.
